Betting on Sports America (BOSA) is a new show. Importantly, BOSA capitalises on the ever-expanding sports betting market in the USA. New Jersey’s Meadowlands Exposition Centre hosted BOSA. It is the home to the world-famous New York Giants and New York Jets teams. BOSA attracted 1,500 visitors for a 3-day conference supported by 60 exhibitors. BetGenius at BOSA was a great fit.
The event targeted gambling operators, casino operators, sports clubs and organisations, as well as industry leaders. BOSA also included a strong social programme encouraging networking and business discussions.
Our client, BetGenius, has 1000 employees working with sports data across 16 countries. Originally based in London, the company is relatively new to the US market. Importantly, BOSA represented an opportunity to build contacts and express their unique offering: a more bespoke service and proprietary data set. Without physical hardware, BetGenius’ stand needed to grab attention in other ways. Consequently, the LED screen, clean graphics and simple tag lines were designed to convey core messages quickly and effectively. The space was also designed to capture visitors, funnelling them through the demo and onto one-to-one discussions.
For BetGenius at BOSA, we created a 400sqft booth to stand out among the other trade stands. The design was clean, contemporary and angled with strong graphics and a large LED wall. Ours was the only stand to have such a wall. As well as the LED screen, two iMacs provided interactive demos of BetGenius’ offering. A large reception desk engaged visitors from the outset. The stand also had a small hospitality / informal meeting area which was a great way to help build relationships with event visitors.
New Event, New Hopes
Many new hopes rested on BOSA – for the event organisers themselves as well as exhibitors. For that reason, this inaugural endeavour hosted at an inspiring venue was a great platform for sharing knowledge, expertise, and insight in the US gambling industry.
